Jennifer Mogannam is a PhD candidate in Ethnic Studies at the University of California San Diego and a lecturer in Race and Resistance Studies at San Francisco State University. For her doctoral research, she is working to build a framework for revolution in the Palestinian context by examining resistance practices in the 1970s in Lebanon and relating it to questions of power in the Arab world on regional and global levels. As such, she is examining Cold War dynamics and transformations in Arab regional politics in relation to popular struggle, movement work, and growing class inequalities in the region.
