Dylan Baun is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Modern Middle East and Islamic World History at Franklin & Marshall College. His research interests include social movements, youth cultures, nation/state formation and the study of conflict in the modern Middle East and North Africa. His dissertation research focused on youth organizations and street politics in mid-twentieth century Lebanon.
