Iris Seri-Hersch holds a PhD from Aix-Marseille Université (2012) and is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Middle East Studies. Her scholarship deals with the modern history of Sudan, Palestine and Israel, focusing on histories of education, colonial land conflicts & processes of spatial appropriation, as well as historiographical practices & social memory in conflict-ridden societies.
