Katrina Yeaw graduated in 2009 from San Francisco State University with a MA in World History. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Middle Eastern and North African history at Georgetown University. Academically, she is interested in gender, violence and resistance under Italian colonial rule in Libya. Presently, she is in undertaking research on Italian colonial policies in Rome, Italy.
