SUMMARY:

An increasing number of faculty positions on U.S. campuses are adjunct, including those focused on Middle East issues. This panel will explore programs that offer awards to pursue research, teaching and other professional activities, including projects abroad. Specifically, funding agencies will discuss awards, fellowships and resources available to adjunct faculty at U.S. institutions and provide guidance on how to pursue these opportunities. Please join us for an interactive discussion and to learn how you can receive funding to develop professionally and advance your career. Panelists will include representatives from the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC), American Council of Learned Societies, and the Social Science Research Council (SSRC).
