Association for Israel Studies (AIS)

Founded in 1985. Annual dues: Regular Membership: $120; Independent Scholars $60; Retirees: $95; Students: $25. AIS is an international scholarly society devoted to the academic and professional study of Israel. AIS is open to all individuals who are engaged in, or share an interest in, scholarly inquiry about the state, society, history and culture of Israel. In 1996, AIS established a graduate student organization. AIS publishes the biannual, Israel Studies Review. Annual meetings in the late spring, and
