Beyond Legal Documents: Constitutions in the Middle East Past and Present

This interdisciplinary workshop will bring together historians, legal scholars, and social scientists interested in exploring constitutions in countries of the Middle East, past and present, and from a comparative perspective. It aims at studying regional constitutions and constitution writing in the economic, political, socio-cultural and socio-legal contexts in which they took place. For more details:
