Post-doctoral Research and Teaching Fellowship in Islamic Studies

The Religion Department at Florida State University seeks candidates for a two-year post-doctoral research and teaching fellowship that focuses on Islamic Studies. The research and specializations of this position are open. Candidates whose research complements existing departmental strengths are especially welcome.

The appointed fellow will be expected to teach two courses each semester. Applicants must have their doctorate in hand by July 31, 2019, and must have received their PhD no later than August 1, 2014. Candidates must be able to show valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. Please also note that Florida State requries that all new hires have a pre-employment criminal history background check.
