Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic Language and Culture

The International and Global Studies Program of The University of the South invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic language and culture, to begin August 2020. This job will be renewable.

The candidate will be expected to teach both Arabic language courses and English-language Arabic culture or literature content courses related to the candidate’s area of research. The teaching load is three classes per semester, six classes per year.

The successful candidate will be a PhD or ABD in a related field and will demonstrate excitement in undergraduate teaching, commitment to research, and an interest in building the Arabic program.
