10 years so-called Arab Spring - a critical perspective

These lectures are intended to offer a space for critical reflection. The main
questions will be the following: What happened in West Asia and North
Africa 10 years ago? Which critical perspectives should be included?

Meanwhile, we were able to organize 20 lectures, in which a wide range
of different interesting speakers will be given space.
The first lecture will be on the 13th of January 2021 at 7.30 pm CET online
via Zoom. This opening event will start on one hand with a short
introduction about our group and the lecture series and then following
with a lecture on the topic of the Problematisation of the Arab Spring by Saeed al Deef.
In a two-week cycle, the lectures will take place and focusing different
regions, for example on the 27th of January on Tunisia.

We would like to invite you to participate in these lectures and would
be deeply grateful, if you could forward our advertisement.
