Scholars are invited to apply to direct a workshop focusing on political, economic, security or social issues related to the Gulf region at the 12th annual Gulf Research Meeting (GRM), which will take place as a hybrid format event on July 14-16, 2022 in Cambridge, UK.

The Gulf Research Centre Cambridge (GRCC) welcomes any innovative proposal dedicated to the study of the Gulf region in a social science context. Topics centered around energy transition, climate change, and conflict resolution mechanisms, as well as economic diversification and recovery are particularly encouraged. We especially look forward to proposals that address unique topics and areas of study where there exists a gap in the current literature.

By submitting a workshop proposal the workshop directors acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by the Workshop Director Guidelines and Publication Guidelines

Proposals and / or questions should be submitted to grm@grc.net
