The Gaza Lecture Series

This Fall, the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (ACMCU), the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS), Georgetown University Qatar (GU-Q), and the African Studies Program (AfSP) welcome 11 distinguished speakers for a vital lecture series focused on the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the impact the conflict is having on the global community.

Topics will include analyses of Israeli state policies, resurgent antisemitism and islamophobia, the question of genocide and the plight of the Palestinian people, and the international community’s role and culpability in the conflict. These events will be both in-person and online with more information shared as the semester gets underway. Speakers will include renowned scholars, UN officials, Pulitzer Prize winners, and noted public intellectuals.

All of the events will be livestreamed in addition to an in-person component. We welcome all those interested to attend in person or online. Please direct any and all inquiries to Jonathan Stupple at [email protected], and we will do our best to assist you.
