List current as of May 17, 2018
* member in 2017 and anticipated to renew for 2018

Becoming an Institutional Member

Institutional membership is on a calendar year basis (January 1-December 31). The cost to an institution is $1000 per year. The benefits of membership include subsriptions to each of MESA’s publications: International Journal of Middle East Studies (print and digital), Review of Middle East Studies (digital only), and Issues in Middle East Studies (print and digital).  In addition, each institutional member receives two complimentary registrations to the annual meeting, two sets of mailing labels of MESA’s membership for purposes of advertising programs and/or publications (upon request), and listings on MESA’s website, annual meeting program, and newsletter (IMES).

Applications for institutional membership in MESA are reviewed for possible approval by MESA’s Board of Directors. To initiate the process, send a letter of intent to the MESA Secretariat (3542 N. Gernomino Ave., Tucson AZ 85705 or secretariat@mesana.org) stating the organization’s interest in Middle East studies along with supporting materials that describe your organization and its goals. The supporting materials should include information about your organization’s funding, programs, and projects.
