Arab American Studies Association (AASA)
Founded in 2012. Annual Membership Dues: $20 Student; $50 Individual; $500 Institutional. The Arab American Studies Association (AASA) is a non-profit, nonpolitical, multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to the study of the history, culture, literature, art, music, politics, religion, and other aspects of Arab American experience. The Association aims to advance the field of Arab American studies and to stimulate research in diasporic, transnational, as well as North American Arab American experiences and cultural expressions. Through organizing annual meetings in conjunction with MESA, along with tri-annual conferences dedicated to Arab American studies, AASA hopes to facilitate communication and collaboration among its members and others interested in the study of Arab Americans.
