Our letter to the Iranian parliament urging them to withdraw the proposed “Bill to Counter the Infiltration of Foreign Intelligence Services, Governments, or Entities,” and arguing that its broad regulation of contact with foreign institutions and individuals would subject routine academic activities to registration, approval, and surveillance.
