The Online Hebrew Summer Institute at the University of Texas at Austin is a fully virtual program that allows students to earn 12 hours of UT Hebrew Credit over the course of 10 weeks. No Hebrew background is required for participation!

Learn basic Pashto communication skills from the comfort of your own home! The Pashto Online Summer Institute (POSI) is a course at the University of Texas at Austin that is designed to teach beginners to read, write, and speak Pashto in practical settings.
POSI has been enjoyed by undergraduate and professional students, K-12 educators, and social workers/volunteers working with members of the resettled Afghan population in the past. This year, POSI classes will meet virtually each Tuesday and Thursday from June 11th to August 8th. Applications are open through May 17th!

The Arabic Flagship Program and the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin are proud to offer the Arabic Summer Institute (ASI), providing an intensive, in-person language and culture program for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students of Arabic combining instruction in MSA and Colloquial Arabic.

The University of Texas at Austin is offering an online upper intermediate/advanced summer Persian (Farsi) course that introduces the decisive movements and moments in the history of Iranian cinema while providing the opportunity for the students to advance their language skills to higher levels.
The course, PRS 329, offers 3 hours of UT Persian credit and is open to anyone over the age of 18 with an intermediate Persian language level or higher. PRS 329 will take place from June 6 through July 11, and applications are open through April 15th. There are several tuition fellowships available as well!
