The Halbuki Linguist Cooperative now offers Zazaki languages classes (beginner-advanced levels). We are the first institution to offer courses in this language in the United states. We offer scholarships to anyone who needs them.

Classes are taught live & online in group format
Classes are taught in 8 week terms
The curriculum is tailored to the students in the group (heritage speakers, professionals, or advanced learners
The classes cover grammar fundamentals, real‑time speaking/listening practice, reading and writing drills, fun interactive activities (games, role‑play, music, literature)
The lead instructor Mesut was born in Istanbul to an Alevi Zaza family and has a degree in Zazaki linguistics. He has published Zazaki language textbooks, translated works into Zazaki (including The Little Prince), and is actively involved in Zaza cultural associations, journal editing, and the development of a cross‑dialectal written Zazaki standard. His deep academic training and cultural roots bring both rigor and authenticity to your learning experience.
