House Committee on Education and Labor expresses concern and requests information from the DoE regarding Duke-UNC Consortium investigation

Representatives Andy Levin (D-MI) and Susan A. Davis (D-CA), Vice Chair of the House Committee on Education and Labor and Chair of the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Investment respectively, expressed concern over the department's investigation into Title VI programming and its implications for academic freedom. On behalf of the committee, they requested information and documents concerning the process behind the Department of Education's threat to withhold funding from the Duke-UNC National Resource Center and shifting demands to change curricula.
