Roger Owen, former A.J. Meyer Professor of Middle East History at Harvard University, and a MESA Honorary Fellow, passed away on December 22, 2018, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He served on the MESA Board of Directors and on various committees along with his scholastic contributions to Middle East studies.
