Jere L. Bacharach, Professor Emeritus of History and former director of the Jackson School passed away on April 9, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. He was a former MESA President, Board Member, and editor of the MESA Bulletin. Jere served on numerous MESA committees, received both the MESA Mentoring Award and the Jere L. Bacharach Service Award which was named in his honor the year he received it.
