Protesting the two-year suspension of Mr. Wa’el al-Qubati
Letter to University of Aden Rector Abd al-Aziz Saleh Bin Habtoor protesting the two-year suspension of Mr. Wa’el al-Qubati, a fourth-year student in the Journalism and Mass Communications Faculty. Mr. al-Qubati was suspended without due process or notification, apparently for writing newspaper articles critical of the university administration.

Letter to Yemenite Authorities regarding the recent intimidation of professors and university departments to not discuss political uses in the classroom or with students leading many professors to leave Sanaa due to the hostile atmosphere being created. Additionally the arrest and mistreatment of professors as a means of intimidation is in obvious violation of international human rights norms.
