Meetings in Conjunction
Requesting meeting space at the Westin for an event during MESA 2025
The 2025 MESA Annual Meeting will be held November 22-25 at the Westin Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. MESA's affiliated organizations, institutional members, and other organizations that would like to hold an event in conjunction with MESA's annual meeting will need to request space by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
Scheduling preferences are given to MESA’s affiliated organizations and then to MESA’s institutional members. MESA charges $300 for arranging the meeting space and for providing a listing in the meeting program and on MESA’s website. That fee is waived for institutional members and new affiliates arranging first-time meetings at MESA. Organizations are responsible for paying for other associated costs (audio-visual equipment, food & beverage, etc.).
Scheduling events depends on space availability. We have set aside rooms on Saturday before and after sessions, as well as Monday evening. We will not likely have space for meetings during session times, but we will try to accommodate special requests. The best times are
Saturday, November 22: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM and 8:30-11:00 PM
MESA will hold sessions from 3:30-5:30 and 6:00-8:00 this day.
Monday, November 24: 6:30 PM-11:00 PM
The MESA Members Meeting will be held 6:15-7:45 and the MESA Dance Party will be held from 9:00 PM-1:00 AM.

Future MESA Annual Meetings
MESA 2026 will be take place November 21-24 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza; it is our 60th anniversary meeting! We will return to the Westin Downtown Washington DC in 2028. The 2027 meeting location has not been selected.
